Jones Family Story

“I’m adopting a little girl from South Africa! This will be my second adoption from South Africa, right now we are  calling her ’sister’ 🙂

At one of my post adoption visits for my daughter, I sheepishly asked my social worker “How soon after coming home has a family ever considered a second adoption?” I wasn’t sure I was going to adopt a second time, especially not so soon after coming home, but when God said “yes”, I couldn’t say “no”. That began the process of bringing ’sister’ home. We had been home six months and the process was beginning again! It felt, and still does feel, like an absolute whirlwind. I am fervently praying for a speedy process and wisdom to support both my daughters in the transition to a family of three.

I cannot share to much information about her at this time, but God has boldly shown me His plan for us and her so I am clingy to faith in that until she is home with us.”
