Lester Family Story

 

Our adoption story: 

Hello, we are Kory and Ella Lester. After trying to conceive a child for 4 years with several failed fertility treatments we were faced with the option to pursue IVF or adoption. After much prayer and guidance from the Lord we felt that we were being led to adopt in order to grow our family. We began our journey to adopt with the help of Nightlight Christian Adoptions. The process was overwhelming but moved quickly upon completion of our profile book. In March of 2017 we received a phone call that would change our lives forever. We were selected by a wonderful, courageous birth mother who wanted to meet us as soon as possible. We had the honor of meeting her in March and being present for the birth of our first beautiful daughter Everly Joy in June 2017.  We remain in contact with her birthmother and have a beautiful relationship with her. We feel that God knew she needed us and we needed her. She gave us one of the most beautiful, special blessings that one could give through the gift of adoption. We are forever grateful to her and the Lord for bringing us together. Now we are ready to grow our family once again through adoption and our sweet Everly is ready to be a big sister. This time around it has been a long process but we are patiently waiting for God’s timing and we know He has the perfect child already selected for our family.
